In Te Ao Māori the Tui has powerful significance. They act as messengers to the atua in the heavens. Because of their personality, the Tui are associated with life fulfilment, confidence and spiritual harmony. Created with the addition of bone to symbolise the white tuft of the Tui - these raukura are a beautiful taonga of aroha.
