STAND STRONG!
Ehara taku toa i te toa takitahi, engari he toa takitini.
Our taonga using pounamu, rākau, waxed cord and our O TE MOTU raukura, is finally here after visiting me in my dreams.  This taonga can be worn to adorn the body or it can be displayed as an artwork - OR BOTH!   It is a reminder to STAND STRONG!
The four crosses symbolise Ngā Hau E Whā O Te Motu and the rākau is repurposed kindling to symbolise Ahi Kaa and the significant role of this. 
Taonga can have either raukura or kawakawa.
